| Youth Making a Difference Workshop 2009 |
ACCESS Charity and Continental Rescue Africa hosted the first-ever Youth Making a Difference Workshop on May 29, 2009 held in Brampton, Ontario.
The purpose of the workshop was to educate, empower, raise awareness and work in solidarity for change with local youth.
Guest speakers included Brampton Mayor Susan Fennell and Brampton-Springdale MP Dr. Ruby Dhalla, in addition to the numerous non-profit organizations in attendance. Seminars by Student Reach International, Continental Rescue Africa and Make You Think TV captured participant's attention and delivered inspirational messages.

| Phanuel Friday Toonie Drive |
Phanuel Friday, initially held on February 20, 2009, was the kick-off event for the Haitian Student University funding project.
Fundraising in schools continues through various forms. Please contact us if you are interested in hosting your own.

| Jamaica Project Fundraiser |
Two fundraisers for the Jamaica Project were held in Mississauga, Ontario, in January and September 2009.

| Annual School Supply Drive |
The fouth annual ACCESS School Supply Drive concluded in August 2009. Again, it was held in Brampton, Ontario, this year at two parishes.

| Starbucks Coffee Fundraiser |
In the spring of 2008 and 2009, ACCESS hosted a sale of Starbucks Coffee (Fair Trade Certified), teas and baked goods at St. Marguerite d'Youville Secondary School in Brampton to raise funds.

| Youth Can Move the World Symposium |
On February 21, 2009 at the annual Youth Can Move the World Symposium, ACCESS hosted a
"Taking Social Action" Workshop and had an Informational Booth at the Agency Fair. Annually Admissionto this event is free but spaces are limited for both the seminars and the fair. Email info@youthcanmovetheworld.ca for inquiries.

Cyclist Schedules 2nd Annual Fundraiser
Keith Vaz, a Brampton high school student, has announced plans for his own bike ride fundraiser. Keith plans to obtain pledges to fund this initiative. Last year, the teen cycled 120 km in only two days, to raise money for charity. This year, he has agreed to donate the funds he collects to ACCESS Charity. The date he has currently set for his cycling event is August 18 - 19, 2007. Please check back for updates and how to support Keith's cause!
Raffle Fundraiser for Colombia
From April 10th - 13th 2007, Raffle tickets available for purchase to help raise funds for our classroom construction project in Colombia. The raffle tickets will be sold at St. Marguerite d'Youville high school to students and staff. Purchase your tickets today! All proceeds go directly towards the building costs of our classroom in Colombia. Social Justice Talk & ACCESS Display
On Thursday, February 22, 2007 there will be a presentation and exhibit on the topic of Social Justice in Brampton, in St. Mary’s Church Hall. The evening begins at 7:30 pm, which will include a presentation by a representative of Dr. Simone (Canadian Food for Children), and an ACCESS Information Booth, as well as a short talk by Daniel Francavilla.
